Jekyl are a new breed of Metal, but they do this by channeling the past greats of the NWOBHM's more obscure bands. They are nothing like the more Pop side of that scene, but rather the darker side of that era like Maiden, but they have modernized the sound as well so it's more relatable to the modern day audience. You can get a relatively good idea of their sound from these 4 songs, they have a diverse sound, they aren't just a one-trick pony and have some huge potential. Time will only tell where these guys can take their sound, but they are off to a very interesting start.
