Can there be such a thing as a "Punk Rock AC/DC"?? Well, Sound And Fury may have accomplished just that. They fire off some of the most infectious Hard Rock I've heard in a long time. Perhaps the closest comparison may be Hanoi Rocks, but they have elements of Iggy And The Stooges, Sex Pistols, Ramones and even some of the early 80's LA Scene sleaze rock bands. They frequently focus on loose women and partying, a lost art in my opionion, and something missing with today's pretentious rockers. Most curious is the packaging of the CD, they have almost reinvented the way a rock band suck as this in percieved. I was expecting a Hard-core over the top band that tries to play fast and yell at you for 30 minutes. I'm hoping that's what the fans think too, and when they hear the strait-up rock they consider it a refreshing change! This CD is perfect for putting in your car stereo and annoying the hell out of everyone, especially the dipshits still listening to hip hop.
