What
comes around goes around... so goes the sound of the early 80's
LA sound. The Stript brings back those elements of the Hollywood
Glam days with some down and dirty rock n' roll. They stay away
from the rock n' roll cliches' from that era and actually have
some pretty good lyrics. What they do lack is a bit of a punch
or spark. The songs are really damn close to being special,
and at times do have some really good parts, but at other times
they drag a bit. I hate the word "potential", but
that's about where we're at. I hear a lot of talent and style
here so that's a great foundation to build from. Fans of this
Glam style should have this for their collection, I expect this
band will go onto some bigger stuff soon.
